Sheriff Sean Kilkenny
Trustee, º£½ÇÉçÇø Board of Trustees
Sean P. Kilkenny was elected in 2015 and re-elected in 2019 as the Sheriff of Montgomery
County, the third largest county in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania with over 850,000
residents. In addition to his elected position, Sheriff Kilkenny serves as the managing
partner of Kilkenny Law, LLC which consists of 15 attorneys. Before being elected
Sheriff, Kilkenny served his country as an officer on both active duty and in the
Army Reserves for more than two decades. Now a retired lieutenant colonel, he began
his military career as a paratrooper and federal prosecutor in the Judge Advocate
General Corps. He served our country overseas in Bosnia, Iraq, Kosovo, and South Korea.

Varsovia Fernandez
Chair, º£½ÇÉçÇø Board of Trustees
Chair Fernandez is a senior executive with more than 25 years of combined management
experience across a variety of industries. She currently serves as the executive director
of the Pennsylvania CDFI Network, where she leads a network of 17 community development
financial institutions across the state. She is the former President & CEO of the
Greater Philadelphia Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and currently serves on several
boards including Rosemont College, The Philadelphia Award, Comcast National Joint
Diversity Council and Philadelphia Health Management Corp.

Dr. Theresa Reilly
Secretary, º£½ÇÉçÇø Board of Trustees
Dr. Reilly has dedicated her career to providing value and service to individuals
and families through the healthcare industry, culminating in her position as Senior
Vice President and Chief Nursing Office at Abington Jefferson Health. She retired
in 2018 after a 43-year career in healthcare and nursing. She holds Master’s in Nursing
from Villanova University as well as a Doctor of Nursing Practice from Thomas Jefferson
University.

Katherine Carter
Trustee, º£½ÇÉçÇø Board of Trustees
Trustee Carter is a devoted educator who recently retired from the School District
of Philadelphia after serving in the roles of principal, teacher and administrative
assistant since 1983. She has a thorough knowledge of school structures, data interpretation
and aligning resources to meet the needs of teachers, students and the surrounding
school community. She is a graduate of West Catholic Girls’ High, Chestnut Hill College,
Cheney and St. Joseph’s Universities, and recently received her ESL certification.

Eleanor Dezzi
Trustee, º£½ÇÉçÇø Board of Trustees
Trustee Dezzi has spent the last 25 years of her career building The Dezzi Group,
Ltd., a full-service government relations, lobbying and business consulting firm.
Prior to founding her family-owned and operated business, she served as special assistant
to the Lt. Governor of Pennsylvania, Mark Singel. Eleanor has also previously served
as the director of the Philadelphia Mayor’s Office of Neighborhoods during the administration
of Mayor W. Wilson Goode, and she remains active in several civic and political causes
to this day. Trustee Dezzi is frequent a political commentator for NBC 10 in Philadelphia
and a delegate to the Democratic National Convention.
