Taking the courses in this order will ensure the best experience, allowing you to acquire basic knowledge in sequential order. If you have no prior experience in Medical Coding or Health Care Professions, this approach allows you to acquire basic skills first before attempting Medical Coding II. You will acquire most of the needed textbooks and coding books in the first semester and will only need to purchase one additional book for HCP Principles of Medical Coding II.
