Building upon integrated concepts of nursing, this course focuses on applying and utilizing skills needed to prepare the student for transition to professional nursing practice. Students will demonstrate ongoing independence in skills, Decision-making and problem-solving in a structured, controlled environment. Emphasis will be placed on working in a collaborative team setting, demonstration of professional communication and application of professional standards in the management of client centered care.
