Welcome to the Division of Business & Professional Studies at Montgomery County Community College.

The Business & Professional Studies division provides quality academic and professional training in the fields of Accounting, Business Administration, Baking & Pastry Arts, Culinary Arts, Criminal Justice, Education, Human Services, Tourism & Hospitality Management, Psychology, and Management. With an AA, AS, or AAS degree in a Business and Professional Studies program, students are well-prepared to enter a career or transfer for the next phase of their educational journey at one of several 4-year partner institutions. In addition, robust professional trainings, credit and non-credit credentials such as those offered through the Municipal Police Academy and the Hospitality Institute, enhance the professional qualifications of our students across a broad spectrum of disciplines.

Business and Professional Studies faculty provide subject matter expertise that complies with state certification requirements and industry standards. By bringing together our distinguished and diverse academic community with working professionals, Business & Professional Studies serves as a catalyst for new ideas and cutting-edge practices that help students, academics, policy makers and practitioners take on complex issues now and in the future.
